Mission

Our mission is to serve disadvantage individuals by providing case management, job skill training and job placement into paid work experiences through transformative mentoring. 

Who We Are

Lashanta Rudd is the Founder of Serving In Christ Outreach Ministry. She is a mental health life coach, survivor,  and advocate for domestic violence. She lead the workforce readiness and job skills training program that helps disadvantaged individuals secure stable employment and integrate into the community.

With a vision from God and a passion in her heart, she was called and led to begin Serving In Christ Outreach Ministries to build partnerships with other churches to equip them to serve and do ministry outside the four walls of the church.

This ministry consists of serving the community and has feed over 30,000 people. Lashanta direct case management and community outreach experience has changed many lives since 2010. 

Our Programs

Conflict Resolution Classes: are facilitated by trained instructors the classes consist of resolving conflict, communication, negotiations, and active listening.
Thanksgiving feed the community:
Thousands of homeless and people less fortunate than others in our city are able to receive a hot meal, warm clothes, and other needed supplies at Thanksgiving through the efforts of volunteers.”On the week of Thanksgiving volunteers serve food to homeless friends from 10 am until noon.
Domestic Violence Support: We offer free and confidential services including crisis response, crisis intervention, case management, counseling, support and even essential needs.

Mentorship

Serving in Christ Outreach has an effective job skills training and mentoring program that help disadvantage individuals secure stable employment and integrate into the community. We provide workforce development and workshops to a wide variety of youth in Memphis & Shelby County TN.
